Chive and Mackerel Paté

225g (8oz) Ready to eat smoked mackerel fillets
15ml (1 tablespoon) Chives, chopped
5-10ml (1-2 teaspoons) Lemon juice
60ml (4 tablespoons) Fromage frais or natural yoghourt
Black pepper

Remove skin and any small bones from the mackerel fillets.

Beat until smooth with a wooden spoon (or use food processor).

Stir in chives, lemon juice and fromage frais or yoghourt until well blended.

4 Season with black pepper and serve with crunchy vegetables and triangles of toast.
