Chive and Mackerel Paté |
225g (8oz) | Ready to eat smoked mackerel fillets | |
15ml (1 tablespoon) | Chives, chopped | |
5-10ml (1-2 teaspoons) | Lemon juice | |
60ml (4 tablespoons) | Fromage frais or natural yoghourt | |
Black pepper |

Remove skin and any small bones from the mackerel fillets. |

Beat until smooth with a wooden spoon (or use food processor). |

Stir in chives, lemon juice and fromage frais or yoghourt until well blended. |
4 | Season with black pepper and serve with crunchy vegetables and triangles of toast. |
